At Taking Care Mobile Massage, we provide a two-day training course to provide for massage students to give them confidence, knowledge and skills to be work ready to work in the aged care industry.

For over 20 years of working in the massage industry, we’ve taken our knowledge and experience and condensed it to help you – the next generation of massage therapists.
You’ll learn about:
- Finding your “why”
- Ageing and support in Australia
- The Home Care Package Scheme
- Strategies for difficult and different behaviour
- Issues faced by the over 65s in Australia
- Massage positioning tips and techniques, including seated massage.
Our goal is to equip you with the skill and knowledge to strengthen your business and help you serve your community.
Our passion and purpose is to pass on what we’ve learnt with the intention that you all become a valued and beneficial influence in the lives of older people in your community.
Day 1
The first day of training is held at Cremorne from 10 am till 4 pm. This session aims to give you an understanding of various health and social issues faced by the elderly.
Day 2
On the second day, the participants attend two clients’ homes with a current employee to observe our treatment process and to get plenty of tips and ask questions at the end of the day.
After training with us for two days, the massage students will be offered employment opportunities at Taking Care Mobile Massage if they fit our criteria.
